Fall Foliage on the Kancamagus Highway

Classic New Englander trip is under way. The leaves are changing and that chill cool air has entered your lungs every morning. What a beautiful time to get out there and take some foliage portraits. That is exactly what we did with the team here at AJC Productions. Liv and I hopped in our truck on a Saturday morning and because of the drive to the white mountains. With Liv being a NH native and myself a current resident but also a long time visitor, these mountain roads filled with orange and red are no stranger to us. First stop on our journey was Conway.

Rolling into Conway early in the morning during the fall is a quiet but busy time. There is plenty of hustle and bustle around the town as leaf peepers are attempting to get in and out of the area before the big crowds of people flood the parking areas. We will be traveling from the East to West of the Kancamagus highway. I have already predetermined our go to spots to stop but are prepared to explore anything that catches our eye.

Capturing the essence of autumn, these photos feature Olivia amidst a sea of orange leaves. Two striking shots showcase her on a rustic bridge, in a stylish grey long-sleeve, black vest, and a chic hat. The interplay of colors and the rustic charm of the setting create a visual story that unfolds amidst the vibrant fall.

Some of first stops are to drive to covered bridges. I have scouted these locations over the years and have a few locations that I like to frequent. I feel it is important to plan out your day but to have the ability to make adjustments when you see locations that may be better suited. This keeps the excitement high while searching for a new area.
